Application

  • Laser Cutting and Fusion

Laser cutting uses a high-power-density laser beam to irradiate materials such as plastic, glass, and metal, rapidly heating them to their vaporization temperature. The material evaporates to form holes, and as the beam moves, these holes create a narrow slit, completing the cutting process.
  • Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is based on selective photothermolysis, where laser wavelength, energy, and pulse duration are adjusted to target hair follicles. Light energy is converted into heat to damage the follicles, preventing regrowth while minimizing discomfort and protecting surrounding tissue.
  • Vacuum Cleaner

In robotic vacuum cleaners, LiDAR is typically mounted on the top of the device, allowing it to scan the home environment with a 360-degree view. This technology works by emitting laser beams and measuring the return time, enabling autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, and real-time cleaning path updates.
  • Laser Pointer

Laser pointers serve various purposes. In presentations, reports, and guided tours, they are used to project a light dot or beam to highlight objects and capture the audience's attention. In stage performances and nighttime lighting, laser pointers can create captivating light effects to enhance the atmosphere.
  • Laser Pump Source

Laser pump sources can be categorized into optical pumping, electrical pumping, chemical pumping, and thermal pumping. Their function is to excite the laser medium, pumping active particles from the ground state to higher energy levels to achieve population inversion. Common optical pumping wavelengths include 808 nm, 915 nm, and 976 nm.
